Contribution Highlights:
- A generous capital funding commitment of $5 million named the Wallis Annenberg Integrated Sciences Complex and brings the total raised or pledged for this project to nearly $8.5 million. The facility will be a new home for the programs in chemistry, biology and other disciplines, creating new opportunities for students to continue to excel in the sciences.
- In its 10th year, the Billie Jean King and Friends Awards Dinner had another successful event, raising more than $2 million for athletic scholarships.
- The university initiated strategic, shared-use,
capital partnerships with two high schools on the campus. Planning and construction began for facilities that will house both the Marc and Eva Stern Math and Science Charter School and the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts.
