Contribution Highlights:
- Alumni gave in record numbers to the university: a participation rate of 10 percent, one of the highest in the country for similar universities. Their contributions supported scholarships, campus technology and faculty. Alumni and others also helped start the university's first unrestricted endowment fund, which now has over $200,000. This fund will provide future generations of leaders with flexibility to seize new opportunities to better serve students and California.
- Students planning to provide care to young children and their families were given a boost by a generous grant from the Packard Foundation in support of their professional development.
- The Smullin family, longtime
friends of the university, made a capstone gift through the Smullin Foundation to complete funding for an endowment that will provide eight fullride
scholarships to highachieving
students from the North Coast.
- A generous contribution from Rob Arkley helped complete funding for the new Kinesiology and Athletics Building.
