Contribution Highlights:
- A firsttime
gift from a prominent alumnus funded a new Summer Algebra Academy as part of a K12
outreach program. This will also support new initiatives in ethnic studies, as well as presidential initiatives.
- A S.D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation grant will support the creation of a model program designed to significantly increase the number of community college transfers pursuing and successfully completing engineering degrees.
- Support from the Potruck Foundation added momentum to a newly established Renaissance Scholars Program that provides academic and financial support for emancipated foster care youth who seek a college degree.
