Individuals
Gift receipts from individuals increased to $112 million compared to $108 million in 2005-2006. This gain was despite a decrease in the number of individuals giving, which dropped to 219,421 from a high of 221,924 in 2005-2006.
Gifts from individuals include giving from alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students and friends of the university.

Alumni
Overall, alumni invested $38 million in their alma mater, representing 34 percent of
giving from individuals. The average gift from an alumni donor was $502, up from $398 in
2005-2006.
Alumni membership for 2006-2007 reached 122,878 members, up 4,000 members from the prior
year. These members provided $2 million in membership dues and contributed $20 million in
charitable gifts, representing 53 percent of all alumni gifts to the university.
