Contribution Highlights:
- The new science building was named in honor of Nora and Hashem Naraghi in
recognition of a $2 million gift supporting the president’s priority fund.
- E & J Gallo Winery contributed $125,000 to upgrade the Computer Information
Systems lab. A large number of information technology students serve as interns
for Gallo and gain full-time employment at the company after graduation.
- Kaiser Permanente has contributed $90,000 to expand the nursing program. The
gift will fund scholarships for nursing students and a new faculty position for
the nursing department's learning resource center.
- Entrepreneur and philanthropist Sebastian Paul Musco donated $100,000 to benefit
any program designated by President Hamid Shirvani.
