Contribution Highlights:
- Real estate developer Charles Davidson donated $15 million to the
College of Engineering for student and faculty development programs
in leading-edge engineering, innovation and globalization.
- Alumna Connie L. Lurie contributed $10 million to the College of
Education to create new programs for student and faculty development,
such as the doctoral program in educational leadership for K-12
administrators.
- At over $50 million, fundraising exceeded prior year results by
approximately twofold. This represents a significant achievement for
the campus as it completes the first full year of its inaugural
comprehensive campaign.
- Topping $50 million, the endowment fund grew by almost 28 percent
and distributed over $1 million to fund student scholarships, academic
programs and Spartan athletics.
