Contribution Highlights:
- The College of Natural and Social Sciences received a bequest of $1.4 million
from an alumnus to endow scholarships and a fellowship for psychology students.
- Annual scholarship revenues have increased from an average of $600,000
per year to $1.2 million in 2005-2006 and to over $3.5 million in 2006-2007.
- Four new testamentary commitments totaling over $3.5 million will benefit
the College of Engineering, Computer Science, and Technology and the Chess
Center/Library.
- The Pat Brown Institute of Public Affairs received two multi-year grants
from local foundations, resulting in over $430,000 in funding for the Public
Policy Education Program and the Youth Enrichment Project in local high schools.
