Contribution Highlights:
- Under the leadership of co-chairs Bud and Jan Richter, the
comprehensive campaign volunteers adopted the theme “Powering
the New California” and mobilized the Campaign Leadership
Committee 2011. The campaign completed its second year, with
gifts and pledges to date totaling $56.1 million.
- Table Mountain Rancheria committed $10 million for enhancements
to the new Henry Madden Library building.
- The College of Engineering received $2 million from The Boeing
Company to endow the Husband-Boeing Honors Scholars program
in Engineering, part of the drive to honor crew members of the
shuttle Columbia.
- Long-time donor and volunteer Dr. Arnold Gazarian and his wife,
Dianne, pledged $1.5 million to name the Arnold and Dianne Gazarian
Real Estate Center in the Craig School of Business.
