Contribution Highlights:
- The Greg Smith Memorial Garden received over $100,000 in donations. This
Asian-influenced garden will integrate native species and drought-tolerant plants
to develop a space where student can enjoy quiet contemplation.
- The President’s Scholarship Benefit raised $206,000, representing an increase
of 52 percent over the previous year. The event was held in the new Loker Student
Union ballroom.
- Total giving by alumni increased by 450 percent, and annual fund giving
increased by 152 percent over the previous year.
- The Leo F. Cain Legacy Society was created to identify and recognize individuals
who have cumulatively made over $1 million in testamentary commitments.
