Contribution Highlights:
- The university generated over $16 million in gift commitments, a new
record for the campus. Close to $8 million was raised from private
sources and over $8 million was raised from government sources to begin
the construction of the third phase at the Palm Desert Campus.
- The campus received a planned gift of $2.175 million—the largest in
its history.
- The “Tools for Education” fundraising campaign raised $1.7 million in
its first six months—College of Education faculty and staff have contributed
over $80,000 to this campaign.
