2005-2006 Annual Report on External Support to the CSU

Contribution Highlights:

  • The Surdna Foundation awarded a two-year $274,000 grant to replicate the universityís unique leadership approach to service learning with other universities.
  • Using the Katrina Emergency tax legislation, the university was able to increase a donorís scholarship endowment gift from $50,000 to $250,000.
  • The university received a $157,000 gift annuity that provides scholarships for veterans, in support of a CSU systemwide priority to help veterans attend college.
  • The capital campaign for the Tanimura and Antle Family Memorial Library officially kicked off in October, receiving over $100,000.
