Contribution Highlights:
- A bequest distribution from alumnus Patrick Pritchard funded a scholarship
endowment for students studying opera in the College of the Arts, and a bequest
commitment from Professor Emeritus Arnold Schwab created the Arnold Schwab Graduate
Center in the University Library.
- The Bickerstaff Student–Athlete Academic Center was established with an outright
gift of $625,000 from the Bickerstaff family to provide student–athletes with
academic program support.
- The W. M. Keck Foundation initiated the Center for Education in Proteomic
Analysis—a state-of-the-art facility to enable undergraduate and graduate students
to study the structure and function of proteins—with a $500,000 grant.
