Contribution Highlights:
- Trustee Emeritus Ali C. Razi initiated an endowment to recognize the
top scholar among the recipients of the William Randolph Hearst/CSU
Trustees’ Award for Outstanding Achievement. The Ali C. Razi Scholars
overcome tremendous personal hardship on their path to academic distinction
and community service.
- Edison International selected the Early Assessment Program to receive
the $150,000 New Era in Higher Education Award. The gift will support
teacher professional development to improve student success in mathematics.
- The Education Financing Foundation of California provided $100,000
to support the 400 students who were displaced by Hurricane Katrina
and temporarily continuing their study at the California State University.
