Contribution Highlights:
- The university experienced the best
fundraising year in its history, raising
over $5 million in philanthropic gifts and an additional $2 million in
pledges. Nearly $3 million was added to the endowment fund, with five
new endowments established at a level of more than $175,000.
- The Robert and Edith Cochran Chair in Gerontological
Nursing became the first endowed chair established at the $1 million level.
- Efforts to achieve Division I athletics status gained momentum as
supporters contributed $3.7 million toward a campaign goal of $6 million.
