The California Community College Associate Degrees for Transfer (AA-T and AS-T) are designed to provide you with a more efficient roadmap for transfer preparation making the transfer process to the California State University (CSU) system smoother while earning an associate degree in 60 semester units or 90 quarter units. The AA-T and AS-T degrees are designed to align the lower-division major coursework you’ve taken at a community college with the upper-division coursework in the designated programs deemed “similar” at the CSU, thus allowing you to build on your educational experience, while earning both an associate's degree and a bachelor's degree with no more than 120 semester units (180 quarter units) total.
