ITRP 2 Network Security Juniper Training
Phase one of the customized training covering all or part of the following five Juniper courses have been completed:
- Security Manager Fundamentals (SMF)
- Configuring Juniper Networks Firewall/IPSec VPN Products (CJFV)
- Integrating Juniper Networks Firewalls and VPN’s into High-Performance Networks (IFVH, Attach Prevention with Juniper Networks Firewalls (APJF)
- Advanced Juniper Networks IPSec VPN Implementations (AJVI)
Training for the Juniper course Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDP) will be provided and rolled out during 2009 and 2010.
Description: Details on the IDP Juniper course may be found on the Juniper website. More information on the CSU’s rollout of this course will be made available as details are finalized.
Prerequisite: General networking knowledge, including Ethernet, TCP/IP and routing concepts. The completion of the customized Juniper training previously provided or Juniper Network and Security Management (NSM) Juniper training.
Audience: Senior network staff members that are responsible for their campus ITRP 2 network security.
