Steps for Getting Started

MANAGERS
STEPS ACTION
1 Schedule a meeting with the ITRP Training Manager to discuss the training needs for your staff, what courses are available and how to get started.
2 Work with each staff member to determine the courses that best fit their needs.
3 Approve staff member's Individual Learning Plan (ILP).
4 Schedule an appointment with the ITRP Training Manager to finalize the ILP's and discus the next steps.
5 Assist staff members in scheduling training using campus Cisco Learning Credits.
PARTICIPANTS
STEPS ACTION
1 Complete the online Participant's Survey and return it to the ITRP Training Manager.
2 Return the Participant's Survey to the ITRP Training Manager.
3 Select classes from Cisco Learning Partners based on your Individual Learning Plan (ILP) and obtain approval from your manager.
4 Attend classes as scheduled and if cancellations are necessary, please cancel within the allotted time to avoid additional costs and send an email to the ITRP Training Manager.
5 Complete the online Class Completion Evaluation Form for all Chancellors' Office sponsored training.
