ITRP 2
ITRP 2 is the first of two, four-year refresh cycles designed to ensure that the campus network infrastructure deployed in the first iteration of ITRP keeps pace with technology and the needs of CSU students, faculty and staff.
The ITRP Refresh Program effort to maintain baseline intra-campus IP networks is comprised of:
- The replacement of aged network equipment in state-owned buildings.
- The upgrade or addition of equipment and software to maintain currency with appropriate network technology advances and evolving user needs.
- Training for the principal network campus staff that support the campus networks.
- Maintenance coverage of core network devices.
ITRP 2 addresses the following five components:

- Border Network (Redundant Firewalls, Remote Access VPN, Element Device Manager, Security Logging Server)
