The Center for Teacher Quality works to exemplify the CSU’s strategic commitment (Access to Excellence) to improving the accomplishments of CSU students by assessing the outcomes of academic programs and holding universities accountable for excellence in those outcomes. The CTQ, California State University, conducts evaluations and reports evidence to strengthen the outcomes and effectiveness of teacher preparation programs.
Located on the campus of CSU Sacramento, the Center examines six interrelated outcomes that are represented in the "mosaic" below. The Center's work is designed to provide a rich, detailed and accurate picture of program quality and effectiveness in the CSU.
