4052.02  9-1-1 EMERGENCY CALLS

Each campus also has been tasked to be vigilant in staffing operators qualified 
to process 9-l-l emergency calls.  The majority of the Public Safety departments 
have combined the 9-l-l emergency operator and police, fire, and paramedic 
dispatch, utilizing the Dispatchers at a central answering point to coordinate 
appropriate services.  All campuses provide site-specific emergency levels of 
emergency service to their community.  Direct-line-ring-down emergency 
telephones are located throughout the campuses and terminate at the 9-l-
l/dispatch operator.  Robbery and burglary silent alarms and fire alarms are 
also a duty placed upon the dispatch operator.
