4040  CAMPUS ADMINISTRATION OF PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENTS

The campus Public Safety administrative lines of authority flow from the 
Presidents through various administrators to the Directors of Public Safety.  
Directors of Public Safety are found reporting variously to Administrative 
Vice Presidents, Directors of Business, Executive Deans, and Deans of 
Students.  Administrative direction, therefore, may come from managers 
who have no sworn authority, while law-enforcement direction is the 
responsibility of Directors of Public Safety.
