2810.02.02  STUDENT PAYMENT SUMMARY (SPS)

The Student Payment Summary is a year-end report issued by the Pell Grant 
Program by the institution indicating by student the payment data which 
have been accepted.  If the amounts agree with the institution's records, no 
further action is necessary and ED will close the Pell Grant award for the year.  
If corrections are necessary, those changes must be reported by December 31 by 
means of payment documents and an IPS.
