2807.03  PELL OVERAWARDS

If the overaward of Pell funds was not a result of institutional error, and the 
institution has made a reasonable effort to recover the funds without success, 
and the amount of the overaward is $100 or more, the Department of 
Education will assist in recovery efforts. The NASFAA Encyclopedia provides 
specific details for this referral process.
