2806.05  REQUIREMENT FOR DISBURSEMENT OF STATE-FUNDED 
STUDENT FINANCIAL AID

There are numerous State aid programs. While unit enrollment 
requirements may vary with these programs, allowing for aid to students 
enrolled less than full time, the procedures for disbursement should follow 
those established for campus-based federal aid.  Cal Grant B is the notable 
exception.

Cal Grant B checks are sent to the campus on the fifteenth of each month.  
The student must sign for the check and indicate the number of units 
enrolled.  The campus also must verify enrollment.  Unclaimed checks must 
be returned to Sacramento by the end of the month.
