2806.02  DISBURSEMENT CALENDAR

The Financial Aid Office and the Financial Aid Business Office should prepare a joint disbursement calendar specifying the dates and duration of each scheduled disbursement period.  The joint disbursement calendar should take into account such events as registration, census, and housing payment deadlines.

Normally there will be at least two scheduled disbursements each term.  The first will be no more than ten days prior to the first day of class and the second will be approximately midway through the term.  Additional disbursements may be scheduled monthly or more frequently to meet the needs of students.
