2110  FEES, RATES, AND CHARGES

The Board of Trustees has been authorized to

"fix rates, rents, or other charges for the use of any project acquired, 
constructed, equipped, furnished, operated or maintained by the Board, or for 
services rendered in connection therewith..."

Fees charged in connection with the services and facilities operated under the 
California State University Housing System

"...shall be charged in accordance with a schedule of fees periodically 
established by the Chancellor."

Housing fees must be set at a level that will at a minimum,

"yield annual revenue equal to annual operating and maintenance expenses, 
including repairs and insurance costs and all redemption payments and 
interest charges and reserve fund requirements on revenue bonds at any time 
issued and outstanding..."

Annually, the Chancellor issues an Executive Order establishing the room 
and board fees for the California State University Housing System.  A copy of 
the most recent Executive Order is contained in AppendixÊBAÊ3901.41.05.
