Subject:

CSU Fund 499 - Campus Direct Vendor Payment

To fully implement the Revenue Management Program (RMP), campuses will be returning their revolving fund advance to the State Controller's Office (SCO) during the second quarter of the 2006-07 fiscal year. Campuses will then rely on local cash on-hand to issue checks using Direct Vendor Pay (DVP). In the instance that the expenses are related to governmental bond funds and the dorm construction fund, campuses will seek reimbursement from the subject fund by submitting a claim schedule to the SCO.

CSU Fund 499 - Campus DVP is available immediately, and shall be used by applicable campuses to account for the use of campus cash and pending claim schedule reimbursement. The claims modification in CMS Finance has been altered to reflect the RMP and previously approved changes. Once the RMP patch is implemented, campuses should define a fund using a FNAT key connected to CSU 499 and use that fund when redefining claims set-up.
