Subject: Student Friendly Activity through January 31, 1998

Cumulative electronic student application activity for your campus is detailed on the attached worksheet. This information may be used to assist in reconciling cash receipts to total applications received.

The report is composed of three sections:

(1) a cumulative listing of applications and their current status;

(2) a summary by application status; and

(3) listings of current month payments, fee waivers and void transactions.

Individuals who have not yet responded to collection attempts are included in the "Unresponsive" section. Please discontinue processing applications for those listed.

The Chancellor's Office has been transferring funds, via warrants, to the campuses for the application fees received on a quarterly basis. Students applying for the Fall 1998 semester or later are instructed to submit the application fees directly to the campus they have applied. The Chancellor's Office will continue to accept application fees for the Winter/Spring 1998 applicants. However, the Chancellor's Office is not assuming responsibility for fees not paid by the students or collection efforts for the Winter/Spring 1998 and Fall 1998 semesters as of October 31, 1997.

If you have questions about the worksheet or accounting issues, please contact Ms. Marcia Le Beau at (562) 985-2892 or via e-mail at marcia_le_beau@calstate.edu. Please contact Ms. Judy Osman for admission related questions at (562) 985-2944 or via e-mail at judy_osman@calstate.edu.
