Subject: Prior Year General Fund Appropriations

The Chancellor's Office has initiated Plan of Financial Adjustments (PFA) to clear all remaining budget balances available in fiscal years 1992/93 and 1993/94 campus general fund appropriations. Account balances as of June 5, 1997 on the State Controller's books were used as the basis for PFA's 969180 and 969195. The consolidated funds from the two fiscal years will go towards the overall obligation incurred by the CSU as a result of the CSEA contract settlement. All funds transferred will be credited back to each individual campus as part of the 1997/98 General Fund appropriation allocation.
