Subject: 1995/96 Energy Bond Payment Reimbursement
This memorandum is to notify the campuses listed in the attachment that the Chancellor's Office has prepared a Plan of Financial Adjustment letter to reimburse each campus for their Energy Bond Payment for fiscal year 1995/96. The Energy Bonds sold in 1986 were refinanced resulting in a $161,700.00 systemwide savings in 1995/96 and lowering campus payments for these bonds through the year 2000/01.
The State Controller has been requested to reimburse the indicated amount for your respective campus and to debit the Chancellor's Office account on our Plan of Financial Adjustment, PFA No. 959107, dated December 1, 1995.
The listed campuses are requested to make appropriate entries in their accounts. This will be a reconciling item with the State Controller's balances until the Controller issues a journal entry.
