Subject:	Software and Electronic Information Resources (SEIR) Charges


This memo is to notify the campuses listed below that the Chancellor's Office has prepared 
a transfer request to charge each campus for participation in a switchover of service from 
CARL to OCLC FirstSearch.

The campuses include Fullerton, Humboldt, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Northridge, 
Pomona and Sonoma.

The State Controller has been requested to process the charges with Transfer #959092 
dated November 2, 1995.  The campuses listed should make the appropriate entries.  This 
will be a reconciling item with the Controller's balances until the Controller issues a journal 
entry.
