Subject: Campus Survey - Tuition/State University Fee Installment
Payment Plans
Attached is a survey of the State University Fee and Non Resident Tuition
Installment Payment Plans approved by the Board of Trustees during their
November 1992 meeting. At that time the Trustees directed that, after the
first full academic year of offering the plan, a thorough review of the costs
and appropriate fee level be conducted in consultation with student
representatives. Accordingly, a task force has been established in order to
accomplish this. The survey information is requested in lieu of the
annual report required by the draft procedures issued in ABS 92-16 on
October 23, 1992, and is necessary for the task force to conduct their review.
Recommendations of the task force, including any recommendations on
the appropriate fee level, will be presented to the Chancellor who is
authorized to adjust these fees.
Please complete this survey and return to the Accounting Department by
September 9, 1994. Any questions your staff may have regarding this
survey may be directed to Alison Fraser, Accounting Department, (310)
951-4610. Thank you for your assistance in gathering this information.
