Subject: Report of Interest Penalty Fees Under the State Prompt Payment Act


Government Code Section 926.17 requires each state agency to submit a written annual report to the Legislature about interest penalties that have been paid during the last calendar year. The report must state the actions taken to correct the problems which caused the penalty to be paid. Copies of the combined CSU report will be submitted to:

Each campus is requested to submit this report to the CSU Accounting Department using the format of the attached memo.
