Subject: Housing Decentralization Update
The cross-posting issue with the State Controller's Office (SCO) has been 
resolved.  Continue to send in your remittances with the cross-posting 
code.  Discontinue the practice of writing on the PFA, "Please cross-post."
The code will cause cross-posting to happen automatically.  If "Please 
cross-post" is written on the PFA, cross-posting may happen twice.

SCO informs us it will take two to three weeks for them to get up to speed.  
Please track all remittances.  When the first cross-post hits your TAB run, 
send a letter to Lee Ramirez asking to cross-post the remittances they 
missed.  SCO will then go back and cross-post the ones they missed.

Concerning Revenue Collected In Advance recorded in 1993-94, reclass 
funds to revenue and the amount will be automatically cross-posted.
