Subject:  Lottery Reserves Status Report
This memorandum reports the status of the Lottery Reserves (formerly 
called "Lottery Endowment principal and interest accounts") for the period 
January 1, 1993 through June 30, 1993.

As per C 93-05 letter, dated February 10, 1993, Lottery Endowment 
principal accounts were closed as of December 31, 1992 to fund the 1992 
Faculty Early Retirement Program.  Endowment interest accounts are now 
renamed "Lottery Reserves."

Attachment A shows the reserves balances along with various items of 
additions and deductions that occurred during the period.  Lottery Reserves 
balances of $13,357,035.22 are available as of June 30, 1993.
