Student Academic Support (SAS) assists the CSU 23 campuses
with the broad range of student service-related programs designed to help students achieve their academic and personal goals, and to prepare CSU graduates to be engaged citizens and successful members of the workforce in an increasingly diverse democratic society.
SAS coordinates programs that support CSU's mission of access, retention, and graduation. This is achieved through areas such as: outreach and early assessment, transfer services, Troops to College Program, admission, financial aid, enrollment, Educational Opportunity Program, career services, athletics, health services, mental health services, foster youth, student housing, judicial affairs, services to students with disabilities, and student activities.
These programs are directed at each point in the educational pipeline - from elementary, middle and high school student preparation and aspirations to community college transfer readiness; from new student retention to successful progress to degree completion.
