CSU, Univision and Chivas USA Help Spanish Speaking Parents and Students Prepare for College on 8/22

Thousands of Latino parents will be welcomed at the California State University Dominguez Hills campus on August 22 to learn about the steps to go to college. The event hosted by CSU and sponsored by Univision and Chivas USA will focus on Spanish speaking parents who need to understand California's educational system from pre-school through college.
WHEN:
- Saturday, August 22, 2009
12 noon to 5:00 p.m. - Ribbon cutting ceremony 11:45 a.m. to 12 noon.

Parking is available in Lots 2 and 7 only. There will be a $4 parking fee.
WHO:
- Exhibitors include public and private universities, community colleges, Chivas USA, the LA Dodgers and more than 70 nonprofit institutions dedicated to support youth education and wellbeing.
