CSU to Present 5th Annual Quality Improvement Symposium & Expo Daylong event will highlight campus achievements and current programs and services (Nov. 5, 2002) -- California State University's fifth annual Quality Improvement Symposium & Expo will highlight CSU achievements using established quality improvement programs and tools, and also will present the latest in quality improvement tools and services.The annual event, which will be held Friday, Nov. 8, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Foster City, California, will feature exhibits from a number of CSU campuses where improvement programs were successfully implemented. The Symposium and Expo is sponsored by the CSU Quality Improvement Steering Committee, which promotes continuous quality and productivity improvement in the California State University through support for: quality enhancement strategies, frameworks and tools; on- going training, education, and communication; assessment of customer needs and satisfaction; performance and outcome measures; process evaluation and improvement methods; systematic identification and transfer of best practices; and campus and/or systemwide collaboration.
