San Mateo County Times/5-1-04 Four appointed to school governing board |

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has appointed four new members to the California Community Colleges Board of Governors, which guides the state's 109 two-year colleges. The appointees are Katherine Albiani, 63, of Elk Grove, president of the Board of Trustees of the Los Rios Community College District in Sacramento; Benita Haley, 62, of Manhattan Beach, a former administrator and teacher in the Santa Monica Community College District; Lance Izumi, 45, of Sacramento, senior fellow in California studies and director of education studies at the Pacific Research Institute; and Pauline Larwood, 45, of Bakersfield, a member of the Kern Community College District Board of Trustees and owner of Larwood Associates Consulting. The appointments require Senate approval.
