|
President Alexander Gonzalez said this week that he has hired a new vice president for administration at California State University, Sacramento. Stephen G. Garcia, who worked for Gonzalez at CSU San Marcos, will replace the retiring Edward Del Biaggio, who has served in the post since 1997. Garcia will serve as the campus's chief financial officer, the same job Gonzalez hired him to do at San Marcos in northern San Diego County. He has spent his career in public education, serving as a high-ranking financial officer at the University of California, Irvine, and two community colleges. His salary will be $160,000. He starts in May.
