Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger on Wednesday named Jerry Jolly director of the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. Jolly, 51, of El Dorado Hills had been acting director since 2002, having worked his way up the ranks since joining the department in 1975. The job, which pays $123,255 a year, requires Senate confirmation. Jolly
declined to state a political party affiliation on his voter registration
form. He holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. |
