By Lesli A. Maxwell

SACRAMENTO -- Gov. Gray Davis has named a graduate student at California State University, Sacramento, to the governing board of the 23-campus CSU system.

Eric Guerra, 25, president of CSUS Associated Students Inc. last year, will serve a two-year term as a student trustee. Guerra, a graduate student in public policy and administration, graduated in May with a degree in electrical engineering.

Two students are appointed to the 25-member board, which sets policy and adopts budgets for the state's largest public university system.
