|
| Two new trustees have been appointed to the governing board of the 23-campus California State University system. Dan Weinstein, a managing partner at Los Angeles-based Wetherly Capital Group, will fill the vacant position previously held by William Denny Campbell. His term expires March 1, 2011. Weinstein graduated from Cal State Northridge and was formerly senior adviser to former state Treasurer Kathleen Brown and was political director of United Food and Commercial Workers. His position requires confirmation from the state Senate. Kathleen E. Kaiser has been appointed new faculty trustee, filling a seat formerly held by Harold Goldwhite. Kaiser is a sociology professor and director of applied sociology at CSU Chico. Her term, which does not require further confirmation, expires June 30, 2005. The appointments were made by Gov. Gray Davis.
