CSU to Educate Spanish-language Families with
Third Annual “Es El Momento” Education Fair

WHAT:

The CSU has partnered with Univision’s KMEX-TV to host “La Feria Es El Momento: Edúcalos” (The Moment is Now: Educate Them), an education fair that empowers thousands of Latino parents and students with information and resources to help them succeed in California's educational system.

   
WHO: More than 30,000 prospective students, family members and mentors from communities throughout Southern California are expected to attend, with over 100 exhibitors from school districts, education nonprofits, colleges and universities.

Fun, colorful and highly visual story:
*Chivas USA soccer players interacting with children
*30,000 books to be handed out
*photography area where children visualize their future by dressing up in a cap and gown or career uniforms
*reading library where community leaders read to children
