Cal Poly Philosophy Professor Nominated for Who's Who Among America's Teachers

Paul Miklowitz, longtime Cal Poly philosophy professor and former department chair, has been nominated for the second consecutive year to be included in "Who's Who Among America's Teachers."

Approximately 5 percent of teachers in the United States are so honored each year, and fewer than 2 percent are included in more than one edition.

To be included in the publication teachers must be nominated by former students who themselves have distinguished themselves by appearing in either "Who's Who Among American High School Students" or "The National Dean's List."

Miklowitz, a San Luis Obispo resident, has been teaching at Cal Poly since 1988.
