University Ranks Sixth For Number of Minority Degrees Awarded Cal State Fullerton is sixth in the nation for the number of bachelor’s degrees awarded to minority students, as reported in the June 3 issue of Black Issues in Higher Education.Fullerton remains the highest ranked overall among California State University campuses in the annual “Top 100 Degree Producers” report on the number of undergraduate degrees awarded to minorities. Last year, the campus placed fourth nationally and first within the CSU. In addition to the overall standing, the campus is recognized as sixth in the nation for awarding undergraduate degrees to Hispanics and 12th for undergraduate degrees awarded to Asian-Americans.
