CSU Advantage LA is a pilot career opportunity program centered at Cal State L.A.

Now Cal State L.A. students and alumni can connect with prospective employers online anytime they wish through an innovative new Web-based "E-Fair" program. This is one of many services offered by CSU Advantage LA, a CSU pilot education-employment partnership that links students and alumni with employers in order to meet California's workforce needs. By registering for this new Web-based program, students and alumni are offered personalized job/internship searches, online newsletters, new job/internship announcements, and access to the jobs database.

"The program has been very successful. Many employers who participate in our traditional on-campus job fair are also signing on for this new program," says Louie A. Lujan, coordinator of CSU Advantage LA. "They enjoy being able to interact with students throughout the entire calendar year, and it saves them thousands of dollars because they can recruit with much less time and money via the Internet. For CSULA students and alumni, it allows for flexibility and personal assistance as they search for quality career opportunities."
