MEASURABLE OBJECTIVES

Acquire an understanding of the three main anthropological approaches to the study of humankind - holism, cross-cultural comparison, and evolutionary theory

Acquire a knowledge of the history of the development of anthropological methods and theory

Acquire a broad understanding of the three principal subfields of anthropology

Acquire and demonstrate the ability to synthesize all the above and apply it to the investigation of original problems employing basic knowledge, appropriate problem orientation, proper research design, and manuscript preparation techniques in the production of a senior thesis
