June 25-27, 2001 Cal Poly San Luis Obispo The name of the dorm that we have reserved is Yosemite Hall. It is just a short walk from Yosemite Hall to the Performing Arts Center, site of the TSSI workshops, dinners, and evening programs. The daily rate for single occupancy is $38.00 per person per night and the double occupancy rate is $30.00 per person per night. Parking is extra ($1.75 per day, purchased from the kiosk at the entrance to campus). Guests will be on their own for breakfast (available at a campus eatery or in town). Couples and families may stay in the dorms. While campus residence halls are prepared to accommodate families, there are no child care facilities on campus. We can accommodate two people in each room, in addition to a child under the age of 6 that can sleep on the floor. We can not accommodate more than this in each room due to fire codes. Sheets and towels are included with each room. Each room has a two beds, desks, dressers, chairs, and closets. Each room has a phone, and internet access will most likely be available in the Yosemite Lounge at the computer stations. There is a TV in the Main Lounge of Yosemite Hall, along with billiards and ping pong table. Each tower in Yosemite has 3 floors. The first floor has 6 rooms connected to one bathroom. The second and third floors have 12 rooms which are divided by a little lobby into 2 sections of six. Each section of six shares a bathroom which has to bathroom stalls and 2 showers in it. We place people by gender and make sure that the people from the same gender share a bathroom. The dorm rooms have a swamp cooler, but no air conditioning. Due to the cool nights in San Luis Obispo most guests will leave their windows open to cool down their rooms. Recreation Center passes may be purchased for all people over the age of 16 at a cost of $5.00 a day.
