Where to stay in San Luis Obispo

All the lodging options listed below are very close to each other and within a mile of campus. TSSI will provide a morning and afternoon shuttle bus between the Holiday Inn Express and the campus.

There are a limited number of rooms at each inn at the rates indicated. Most inns include a modest continental breakfast with room rental. Parking is included at no extra charge.

Participants will have to make their own reservation, guaranteeing it with a credit card. Also be aware that if you are arriving on Saturday, the cost of the room will be substantially more (weekend rate).

When making your reservation, be sure to indicate that you are a CSU Teacher-Scholar Summer Institute participant. SLO inns do not waive sales tax for state employees on room rentals.
